Calm Radio - Antonio Vivaldi - Antonio Lucio Vivaldi (4 March 1678 – 28 July 1741), nicknamed il Prete Rosso ('The Red Priest') because of his red hair, was an Italian Baroque composer, priest, and virtuoso violinist, born in Venice. Vivaldi is recognized as one of the greatest. Frederico Vivaldi is an 'aging' police inspector in Trieste, so one learns a lot about northern Italy in this series. His son is also a policeman, and Vivaldi is separated from his wife of many years. We watch the relationships grow and change over the several episodes.
